3 crisp semolina pastry shells, filled with spiced potato and served with tamarind, coriander, cumin yoghurt infused water.              

VEGETABLE SAMOSA CHAAT WITH CALCUTTA GHUGNI (VG) 4.95  
Home-made vegetable samosa served with Ghugni. Ghugni is an street food snack in Eastern India. Black gram, dried yellow peas, or dried white peas are cooked with gravy in the traditional eastern Indian style.    

JHAAL MOORI (VG) 4.95 
Puffed rice, gram flour noodles, cucumber, potato, tomato and chutneys  
Jhaal muri is a popular street food snack of Bengal. Jhaal means spices and muri is puffed rice.  

THE MOTHER OF SCOTCH EGGS 4.95  
Quail eggs, minced goat, yoghurt based gravy  
The London department store Fortnum & Mason claims to have invented Scotch eggs in 1738.They certainly popularised them, including them as part of their various hampers. It is generally believed that they in turn derived from food the British encountered in the Raj, including a Mughlai dish called nargisi kofta

Roasted spices and tamarind infused Mushrooms. Upma is a South Indian dish cooked with dry roasted semolina.  Rasam is a traditional south Indian soup made with tomato and peppers.

Sambar, coconut chutney. The dosai is a South Indian crepe and is rich in carbohydrates and proteins.

Saffron rice, mushroom thiyal, lentils, masala okra, potato varuval, Kerala paratha, poppadum, chutneys, yoghurt dumpling, vegetable avial and dessert of the day.   These dishes may change based on seasonal availability of ingredients.

Butter chicken sauce, cucumber raita, green banana and cassava stir-fry, fenugreek roasted baby potatoes.  Peralen is a home style, dry roasted chicken dish from Kerala.  Chicken 65 is a crispy chicken dish from South India flavoured with red peppers.  

PANFRIED MASALA SEABASS, ROE CUTLET 20.95  
Served with a tangy sauce of kokum, home style potatoes, carrot and cabbage thoran, steamed idli.   Thoran is a coconut based steamed vegetable dish.

Fondant potato, mushroom pepper fry, pilau rice.    

HOME STYLE FORE SHANK OF GOAT 20.95  
Butternut squash and black-eyed bean erissery, with stir fried seasonal vegetables.  An erissery, a traditional dish, combines the sweetness of butternut squash with the heartiness of black-eyed beans

Served with lemon rice, masala potatoes, wilted spinach and chick pea and a moilee sauce – a moilee is a creamy sauce combining turmeric, ginger and coconut milk.
